Do take note that most stores in Freeport/Lucaya are open Mon.-Sat., 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Food stores are open 7:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. all week, but on Sundays they are open only from 7:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m.

The marketplace also features a turquoise oceanfront that provides the visitor with views, an ultimate relaxation while you dine, shop or simply sit by the docks and watch boats come to rest, some of the most luxurious yachts anchor at the marketplaces marina

In the evenings the marketplace has live entertainment in the Count Basie Square, consisting of a live band with a featured singer, as well as a one-woman fire show, alongside a daredevil on roller skates performing the limbo. All in all the show is creative and entertaining, the music to be heard is a mixture of jazz, soca and calypso, you will be amongst many of the locals who will add spice to your night. Do take advantage of the other night life offered in Grand Bahama, as the show may loose it’s appeal if you watch it nightly.
