Gold Rock Beach

Gold Rock Beach is the most beautiful and longest beach on the island of Grand Bahama. At low tide, it is possible to walk out approximately 40 feet before the ocean covers your knees. To get to this undisturbed sandy white beach, you need to drive approximately 40 mile form the Lucaya area, and then walk over a bahamian swamp marsh on a man made bridge for about 2 minutes and then you have arrived. Trust Us, it is definitely worth the trip. As it is apart of the Lucayan National Park, it is reserved and unspoiled. Go here for a relaxing time away from it all.

Lucayan Beach

Lucayan Beach is a busy stretch of beach. Located on this beach are the Sheraton Hotels, Coral Beach Hotels and a few condominiums. It is littered with watersports activities, bars, and places where you can get 'good' food. There are also secluded spots on this beach, for those of you who want to relax, all you have to do is take a stroll down the beach until you find a spot to your liking.

Taino Beach

Taino Beach has 3 hotels on its waterfront located at one end, at the other end it is completely secluded. At this end, you will find the settlement of Smiths Point, where the annual get together of fish fry is held at night. In the day time, you can enjoy some scorched conch from Tony Macaroni or enjoy a drink at Kaptain Kenny's on the Beach.

Xanadu Beach

Xanadu Beach is most convenient to the city of Freeport's resort hotels, several of which offer shuttle services to this beach. Here you can find more than a kilometer ( 1/2-mile) of white sand and (usually) gentle surf. Don't expect to have Xanadu to yourself, but if you want to find a more quiet and secluded area,, try walking down the beaches along that stretch in either direction
